Second anniversary of the passing of former Daybluet CEO, Peace Rainez-Paines
The death of our beloved leader still affects us.
June 6, 2026
“Love is the only path to progress,”
said Peace Rainez-Paines, the former CEO of Daybluet. On this day in 2024, he departed this life.
In commemoration of this special day, we write his biography.
Peace Rainez-Paines was born on November 24, 1960, into a high-class family. His parents were José Rainez, of Argentine origin, and Belinda María Paines, of Mexican origin.
Bugs had caught his heart since he was young. He used to spend hours hanging out with his diminutive friends, reading about entomology, and sharing his findings with other children. Even if they found him strange, his niceness made up for that.
They lived in Baja California during the first years of his life. At age 11, the Rainez-Paines family moved to California, United States. His parents expected Peace to be heartbroken over losing his classmates, but he appeared indifferent. Worried about his lack of empathy, they began traveling across the United States and took him to the poorest zones. He remained nonchalant, yet he understood the struggles of underprivileged families and became more compassionate toward them.
Rainez had always been an excellent student in every subject, and he hoped to study biology. However, due to his parents’ pressure, he ended up pursuing a higher education in Finance. However, he met Acapulco, who was studying Biology at the time, and they became best friends. Acapulco was born and raised in Argentina, so their shared heritage helped them approach each other first.
He thought that his parents would hire him in their corporations. Instead, they supported him economically until he rented his first apartment. After that, Rainez didn’t get to see them for a long time.
Rainez hated having to resort to being a cashier. He thought that he should have studied Biology since he would have gotten an unsatisfying job anyway, and that he wasted his youth.
One day, his dear friend Acapulco asked him to join his new company, “Daybluet”. Rainez eagerly accepted this offer. In fact, this benefited them more than him, as its members were all biologists without any knowledge regarding Finance. Despite Rainez’s dissatisfaction with what he had studied, he excelled in his field and significantly contributed to the organization's success. In 1998, he became the CEO of Daybluet due to his labor.
Rainez did not let success get into his head, and he even used his power to support those in need. He came up with “Fair For Fairness” from his childhood dream to be able to meet more people like him, regardless of economic context. His partners disapproved of the idea for years until they finally agreed to make it a reality in 2003.
In 2007, the Spanish-English doctor Celeste Karga gave a speech during an FFF edition and met Rainez for the first time. He grew interested in her and looked forward to seeing her more frequently, until they developed an intimate bond. She appreciated his humbleness, and he loved her intelligence. In 2014, they got married and had 2 children together: Disa and Lai.
His friends, significant other, children, and community describe Peace Rainez-Paines as an honest man who always tried to do the right thing. The founding trio, especially Acapulco and Estrela, thank him for helping them to set up Daybluet. In interviews with Celeste, she has mentioned that Rainez loved her and their daughters. He raised them to be kind and to appreciate all living beings, just like he did. Many small organizations continue to function because of his idea and donations.
On June 6, 2024, Rainez took his own life. He left a note behind saying, “I’m sorry you found me in such a situation.” Further details are still unknown.
Acapulco became CEO of Daybluet again after his death, yet there are doubts whether he could maintain the legacy of Rainez. For the moment, the organization is stable.
